Do you want to surprise your diners but you don’t have much time to dedicate to cooking? Don’t worry, #Artemonte brings you a recipe for some exquisite canapés made of pate and cecina sticks that will leave your guests speechless without stopping to try them.
Ingredients
Bread sticks
duck pate
Olive oil
2 garlic
Preparation
We start by slicing a couple of very fine garlic, put four tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and add the garlic that we have cut. Fry the garlic until they acquire a golden color and remove them to a container.
Cook’s note: we also reserve the oil with which we have fried the garlic that we will use later.
To start assembling the canapé, take a slice of deer jerky and spread it with the duck paté on one side. Next, we place a breadstick on top of one end and roll the jerky around the stick.
Now we place the canapés on a plate and with a brush we slide the oil that we use to fry the garlic. Cook’s advice: this way we will give more flavor and we will achieve a brighter and more appetizing appearance. Finally, we put the garlic chips on top and our canapés would be ready to take to the table.
This recipe is perfect to surprise your guests in an original way that does not require much preparation time. Although we advise you not to prepare them too far in advance, since the bread can become soft. It is an ideal dish to have with a glass of wine while you spend a magnificent evening.
