Meatballs are very popular in different cuisines and have many recipes. Today I bring you some very original and tasty ones based on mustard and orange juice, a meal for every day that you can accompany with white rice or potatoes.

Artemonte meatballs are already prepared and ready to cook, which will save you a lot of time in the kitchen, it is lean meat clean of fat and being deer they are spectacular, since this meat has very valuable properties for cooking.

Ingredients

500 gr. Artemonte deer meatballs
1 onion
Olive oil
200 ml. White wine
2 garlic cloves
100 ml. Orange juice
1 cd. Dijon mustard tureen
1 tbsp. old mustard
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cd. corn flour tureen

Recipe preparation

The first thing we are going to do is prepare the ingredients. Cut the onion in juliana and squeeze the oranges. Booking.
Add oil to a frying pan, add the meatballs and fry until golden brown. Booking.
In that same oil, sauté the julienned onion with a little salt and black pepper and more oil if necessary, over low heat until about 20 min.
Add the flour and stir quickly to cook it without burning. Then add the white wine, the orange juice and stir until the sauce thickens a little.
To finish, add the meatballs that you had reserved, mix everything very well and let everything cook together for 10 min. And ready to enjoy.

If you want to speed up the recipe a bit, you can use packaged onion confit, it comes out very good and you save half an hour of cooking.
Accompany the white rice meatballs, potatoes, cous-cous… to make a unique dish.
